This gateway site to Carlow represents an opportunity to create a landmark building within an established urban framework. The multi-level terraced building of stone and glass accentuates the varying roofscapes of the surrounding properties. Further to this was the creation of an urban plaza to the front of the development which softens the heavily congested road networks, offering calm pedestrian spaces. We were appointed also as the interior designer for this project. We were responsible for the main internal atrium areas and 21 high-end residential apartments. The overall internal architectural appearance of the building is that of a modern office and residential facility with a variety of high quality, durable internal finishes which have been incorporated, so to attract business and residents to relocate to this city centre project.
